The Institute of Art and Ideas aims to promote all forms of creative expression. We are excited by new thinking and ideas that push boundaries.

Our events include two cultural festivals a year, Crunch:the Art Festival at Hay, which brings together the world’s leading contemporary artists, curators and commentators,  and HowTheLightGetsIn: the philosopy and music festival at Hay, which puts innovation and cutting-edge thought at the forefront of contemporary culture.
